Bob's first lesson required some arithmetic. If you live to 100, how many days would that be? Less your days as a child and senior citizen, how many days of your productive life remain?

About 20,000.

If we live to old age, we will deploy about 20,000 days in pursuit of prosperity and production. For the most part, the choice of how to allocate that resource falls to each one of us. What a choice that represents! Each day I spend at the String, I get a chance to reflect on the power of those 20,000 days. Within our community, we interact with many individuals who demonstrate the acumen and responsibility which come with spending your days well. We are getting a sense for how we ourselves may grow with practice, patience, and perseverance. When the sun goes away and we lay down to sleep, we drift off with the memories of the newest chapter percolating from mind to body and back again.
